Saville Audio Visual has been a provider of video conference call services since 1997 and offers a number of different conferencing services, as illustrated below.  All conference services are hosted on state of the art conferencing platforms and operated by conference service experts.

Standard Conference Call Service

The standard Saville Audio Visual conference call service enjoys a reputation for excellent customer service, expert assistance and value for money.  Conferences may be held via ISDN and IP networks, and are hosted on the latest technology from Polycom, Tandberg and Codian.

Key Service Features

  • Accept, schedule and confirm bookings via fax, email, or telephone
  • If the customer is new or a site is new we will test all sites beforehand
  • All calls are initiated with a 10 or 15-minute line up time to ensure the meeting stars on time.
  • The conference is initiated with a meet and greet operator, who welcomes everyone into the conference, introduces each site as they connect.  The operator advises participants of poor quality audio or video and offers assistance to help to correct any audio/video issues – for example if the microphone is placed incorrectly or if light is causing silhouettes.  Once the operator is happy with the quality and connection of the call she will then wish the participants a good meeting and leave a number to call should they experience any difficulties.
  • The conference is then monitored throughout the duration of the conference whereby the connection, audio and video are closely monitored and should the operator notice any faults they will do whatever is required to maintain a stable conference.
  • When the conference is due to finish an alarm will alert the participants to if they require an extension. Conferences will always be extended subject to resource availability.

Branded Service

This service enables an organisation to present video conferencing services as if they were internally provided services.  This includes:

  • Branded email address
  • Dedicated telephone number, answered with for example “ABC Videoconferencing”.
  • Branded multipoint service, logo used on screen
  • Logo used on confirmations etc

Virtual Meeting Room

Dialling into a meeting room could not be easier; each meeting room has its own dial in number, is PIN protected and has 24 hour availability.

Meeting Rooms are charged at a flat monthly rate, providing a predictable cost for the service.

The SAV outsourced service includes:

  • Point to point calls
  • Multipoint calls
  • Internal facilities booking service

Benefit to the customer:  the service takes on the appearance of an internally provided service,) no capital expenditure, maintenance, quality service etc.

Gateway (IP to ISDN) Service

In the age of the Internet and IP networks, video conferencing has never made more sense with high quality communications at predictable costs.  However, during this transitional period, where some systems still require ISDN connectivity, Saville Audio Visual offers its customers an IP to ISDN gateway service, thereby removing the requirement for customers to implement their own costly ISDN service.

The gateway service requires the customer to register to the Saville Audio Visual gatekeeper, whereupon it may be connected via ISDN to anywhere in the world.
