quadraOne of the UK’s leading advocates for videoconferencing technology in the financial sector, has chosen to invest in the freestanding Quadra meeting room solution.

In recent years, the company has taken a global lead in the deployment of HD video communications across its global network of offices, in some cases in extremely remote locations. The technology plays increasingly significant part in its global business model and an audit has been carried out with a view to further international deployment.

It had become evident that suitable, available rooms for quality VC meetings were at a premium and escalating building costs and attendant regulations add further barriers. Delivered in modular form and operational within 48 hours, a Quadra unit can be assembled and installed almost anywhere - with no structural work, minimal disruption and no dilapidations if it has to be re-sited.

The Quadra concept was chosen as a flexible solution that enables the company to capitalise on underused spaces, starting with a pilot scheme at their IT training base. This model is now to be rolled out to other key locations. A smaller version has been identified as an ideal solution for UK offices to provide an instant, private ‘Branch Advisor of the Future’ service.

Baby Quadra

The bespoke, compact model has been developed specifically for this role. Designed and built for Saville by QuadraConcepts, Saville is in discussions with other major clients about further bespoke versions, including a larger group conferencing version to accommodate up to eight people.

The company’s head of global media services, is responsible for the design and installation of videoconferencing systems and facilities worldwide. He said: “My team is tasked with researching and standardising this technology, including stand-alone conferencing and permanent telepresence facilities. Quadra provides a ready made and adaptable solution”.
