Health & Safety

As one of the UK's largest and oldest established professional AV companies, we are committed to a stringent policy of providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and safe systems of work for all employees. As far as is reasonably practicable, we also accept responsibility for the Health and Safety of other people who may be affected by our activities.

From board directors down to the newest recruit, all staff are required to be completely familiar with, and adhere to, all procedures of the Health and Safety System and to co-operate with all company appointed staff in the execution of their statutory Health and Safety responsibilities.

This policy is regularly monitored, by promoting a culture of continuous improvement through risk assessment and staff training. Full details are contained in the company's Health & Safety manuals and reviewed annually.

Quality

Our aim is to deliver the highest possible quality products and services that meet or exceed our customers' expectations. Our Quality Management System is based a policy of continual improvement, through comprehensive quality processes that meet, as a minimum, the requirements of ISO 9001-2000 and are continually monitored for effectiveness.

 

WEEE and RoHS statements

WEEE Statement
The Saville Group Limited has a business to business obligation under the WEEE legislation and has therefore registered as a Producer.

WEEE Returns Policy.
The Saville Group Ltd has contracted out it's obligation for collecting WEEE to our compliance scheme. For any WEEE takeback queries, please contact WEEECare on 0844 800 2004 quoting account reference 141204.

Where returns are likely under a like for like purchase, this must be brought to the attention of the selling agent on behalf of The Saville Group Ltd before any final sale price is agreed as this may have a bearing on the final price.

RoHS
The Saville Group Ltd warrants that all the products that it places on the market in the countries of the European Union after 1st July 2006 shall comply with the European directive 2002/95/EC other than in cases listed in Annex II under the conditions specified therein.

The Saville Group Ltd, through the regular QHSE group meetings has formulated an action plan and has undertaken a review of our suppliers in order to ascertain the level of our exposure to possible RoHS issues.

The action plan is intended to ensure a cleaner global environment and to provide our customers with products without such hazardous elements as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

Compliance shall be achieved prior to the commencement date of the regulations (1st July 2006) and our RoHS progress can be monitored through the updates to this website or by contacting our HSE office.

It should be noted that after the date of compliance (1st July 2006), The Saville Group Ltd will still be able to supply non-RoHS compliant parts and goods under exemptions referred to in the directive. For example, for the repair or equipment placed on the market prior to the commencement date and under specific exemptions such as those for control system equipment and for supply to the military.
