Saville Audio Visual has strengthened its videoconferencing team in the south east with the appointment of Ian Noble as a VC consultant, based at the company’s Southern office in Farnborough. He has spent the past four years in a dealer support role with VC market leader Polycom and adds considerable experience of current VC and telepresence technologies.

Saville Audio Visual provided the staging and facilities for the launch of Fiery Irn-Bru, a limited edition soft drink from Scottish drinks group, AG Barr. The new brand was launched to the public in Glasgow’s George Square by former AG Barr chairman Robin Barr, who donned protective gloves to pull the first-ever bottle out of a furnace to present to the gathered crowd.

Saville Audio Visual has invested half a £million in spectacular new facilities at its York head office. The refurbishment includes purpose-designed demonstration rooms for HD videoconferencing, HD telepresence, interactive presentations, digital signage and 3D projection.

Saville Audio Visual provided a spectacular backdrop for an Indian wedding in Whites Hotel at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. The projected skyline image – over 105 feet wide – was delivered by a single 18,000 lumen Christie Roadster projector. A second projector flown from the lighting truss produced an interactive fish pool effect on the dance floor.
