Manchester United Player Awards

Full width set with central proscenium area and large twin rear projection screens. Illuminated, custom made lettering graphics, plasma screens and presenter’s lecterns. Plasma ‘repeater’ screens were placed around the room. Professional backdrop for the video recording of the presentations, broadcast on the MUTV channel.

iNet Special Schools Conference

Economical stage set including angular panels to provide interesting visual effects, without detracting from the large central screen providing the biggest images possible within the room dimensions. Lit with strong colours and changing projected gobo effects, the neutral coloured panels create an arresting setting for the presentation.

Macmillan Nurse Appeal Charity Dinner

Star-studded cabaret line-up with a glamorous night-club atmosphere. We supplied a catwalk stage and a range of floor-standing truss frame gantries for the lighting. A high performance sound system plus live video camera feeds to two large rear projection screens added professional impact to the music.

UNICEF Annual Charity Ball

For this event, attended by Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United players and many ‘A’ list celebrities, UNICEF once again chose Saville to supply full AV staging and facilities. These included a translucent projected backdrop, relay screens, zoned PA and a moving head lighting rig covering the entire suite. Saville also provided stage engineering for The Saturdays plus live camera relays and vision mixing, incorporating live ‘silent’ auction by SMS texts.

An Evening with Sir Alex Ferguson

We designed and built this stage set, incorporating Viewscape widescreen rear projection on a 7 metre-wide screen providing the largest, clearest images possible for the 270 delegates. We also supplied the lighting and sound rig, using a high powered audio system with speakers flown from a truss frame gantry.
