With the unprecedented increase in life expectancy now a prime global topic, delegates from all over Europe attended the conference at The Sage in Gateshead, hosted by the Institute for Ageing & Health at Newcastle University. The conference aimed to gain new scientific understanding of the ageing process with regard to improving health, independence and quality of life for Europe's older citizens. We supplied a complete audio visual support service for the event, from projection and staging facilities to the recording of all the elements of the conference using the unique Mediasite system. A complete synchronised recording of each presentation was made available for delegates and for subsequent distribution and access via the Internet.
