Digital Signage at Army Garrison Sports Centre
We supplied a Sanyo 42" display
to help train the British synchronised swimming team in preparation
for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Part of a DVD recording system
at the Army Garrison Sports Centre in Aldershot, the waterproof
monitor provides instant playback on the poolside. The unit is
completely sealed and safe for use in wet surroundings - ideal
for reviewing progress of the team's performance.
The team's technical programme manager, Adele Carlsen said: "If definitely helps with the training programme. For synchronised swimming it is vital to see what you are doing. Now we can hook up the underwater camera or analyse our competitors by the pool".
