Thames
Valley University
The Queen visited
Thames Valley University
to open the award
winning new Paragon
Building. She was
accompanied by vice
chancellor Peter
John, who said: "We
were keen to showcase
the mix of skills
and talents of our
students and highlight
the breadth of courses
we run at our campuses”.
One
of the highlights
was a live music,
dance and drama performance
by students, with
staging, sound and
rear projection facilities
generously supplied
and operated by the
Saville team from
Guildford.
University
of Bath Graduations
Saville
provided
a network
of plasma
screens and
video monitors
for the University
of Bath's
graduation
ceremony
in Bath Abbey.
Rigged into
a live camera
system, the
brightness
and contrast
of the screens
enabled the
large audience
in all the
areas of
the Abbey
to see clear,
close-up
images of
the presentations.
